A weekly routine you can follow

Add a student. Record their lesson price, contact and any notes you need.
Plan the lessons. Choose a date, time and length. Repeat the lesson weekly for up to 52 lessons. An overlap warning helps you spot a clash before saving.
Mark what happened. Keep planned, done, cancelled and no-show lessons separate. Choose in Settings whether no-shows should be charged.
Record the payment. Enter the amount received and its method. The student balance compares recorded payments with charges.

Payment tracking, not payment collection

Lesson Book records payments you enter. It does not charge a card or collect money from a student. Print an internal receipt, review a student statement or export receipt records as CSV. These receipts are not tax-certified documents; check your local requirements.

Reminders you review and send

Copy a lesson reminder or payment request, or use Send message to open your messaging app with prepared text when a usable phone number is saved. Review the recipient and text, then send from that app. Opening a composer is not proof of sending or delivery. There is no background reminder service or student-facing booking page.

Put upcoming lessons in your phone calendar

Add to phone calendar downloads an .ics file of upcoming planned lessons. Import it into your calendar and check the dates, times and alerts. This is a file export, not two-way sync: changing a lesson later does not update an earlier calendar import.

Share a short progress update

A student progress update uses notes from up to five recent lessons that are no longer planned or cancelled. Read and edit sensitive details before copying or opening a message. Nothing is sent automatically.

Keep a backup, not just a browser tab

Lesson records are saved in this browser. They do not automatically sync to another device. Download a backup from Settings regularly and keep it somewhere safe. Clearing browser storage can erase your records. The licence is checked online.

The demo holds 3 students and 40 receipts. The full version removes those limits for $15 USD per month. Cancel through your Gumroad receipt. Your emailed licence key is entered in Settings. The app includes a choice of 41 interface languages.

FAQ

Can students book their own lessons?

No. Lesson Book is a record you manage, not a public booking system.

Does it send reminders automatically?

No. Copy the prepared text or open your messaging app with Send message. Review and send it yourself; the app does not confirm delivery.

Can I use it on another computer?

You can move records with a backup file. There is no automatic device sync.

Is the full version a one-time purchase?

No. Lesson Book costs $15 USD per month. The demo is limited to 3 students and 40 receipts.
