Whatnot Earnings Summary - preview, not yet checked on real exports

Turn a Whatnot weekly orders report into monthly earnings and a journal.

Tested only on made-up files, never on a real Whatnot export. Column names come from Whatnot's help page for the Seller Weekly Orders Report, so the tool stops with a message if a needed one is missing. The report covers completed orders, refunds, tips and shipping charges only, not payouts or promotions, so this is not a payout check. Whatnot says the report is not an official document for regulatory reporting.

Set these to match your files before you drop them. Nothing is guessed. Limits: 20 files, 40 MB each, 200 MB in total, 60,000 rows per file and 300,000 in total.

Drop your Whatnot weekly orders report here, or click to chooseSeller menu, Financials, Statements, download the week. CSV only. Choose several weeks at once.

Questions

Which file do I use?

Log in on whatnot.com, open your seller menu, choose Financials, then the Statements tab, and download the weekly orders report for each week. Each is a CSV. Pick all the weeks you want and drop them together.

Why are there settings?

Number and date styles are not documented, so you tell the tool. Nothing is guessed. Times in the report are UTC, so a month is a UTC month.

Does it match my payouts?

No. Whatnot says payouts, referral bonuses and promotion spend are not in this report. Use the Ledger export for those.

Is the journal entry accounting advice?

No. It is a starting point built from the month's totals and the accounts you type. Your accountant decides how Whatnot earnings are booked. The tool makes no tax or accounting claims.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The file is read on your device.
